Photo Shoot: A Cuban Inspiration

September 28, 2017

A Cuban Inspiration

In the wake of Hurricane Irma’s devastating destruction, I wanted to share a recent shoot that I styled with a Cuban twist in mind.  There is so much beauty in the islands of the Caribbean – the people, the cultures, the colors – oh, the colors.  Remembering these popping pinks, blues, and yellows brings energy, vibrance, and hope that these paradises can soon be rebuilt or restored.

This was a summer photo shoot styled for Gywnn’s of Mount Pleasant at the savvy Americano, which recently closed to the public.  We were fortunate enough to embrace the nod to Latino style within this space with the added elements of some of our most coveted designers: Milly, Mara Hoffman, Alice and Olivia, Jimmy Choo, Isaia, Eton – to name a few…

I hope you enjoy the bold colors and textures, light and graphic contrasts as much as I did styling them.

A special thank you to Gwynn’s, the Americano, and Lacey Salinas

Alexandra

Fashion and styling isn’t about expensive designers or the . . .
